This Cookie Policy explains how BoltSuite (“BoltSuite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the PunchCardScan website and app (the “Service”). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. About This Cookie Policy
1.1 Introduction. This Cookie Policy explains how BoltSuite (“BoltSuite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the PunchCardScan website and app (the “Service”), and supplements our Privacy Policy.
1.2 Effective Date. This Cookie Policy is effective as of the date in the title above.
2. What Are Cookies
2.1 Definition. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. We also use related technologies, such as local storage, for similar purposes.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
3.1 Essential Cookies. Required for the Service to operate, including keeping you signed in and protecting against cross-site request forgery. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.
3.2 Functional Cookies. Remember your interface preferences and settings within the Service.
3.3 Analytics Cookies. Help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. Used only where enabled and, where required by law, only with your consent.
3.4 Advertising Cookies. Used only on our public free-trial page to display advertising; paid accounts are never shown ads.
4. Cookies We Use
4.1 Cookie Table. The table below lists the specific cookies currently used on the Service. Types match the categories in Section 3.
| Cookie Name | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| punchcardscan-session | Essential | 2 hrs | Keeps you signed in until it expires or you sign out |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Essential | 2 hrs | Cross-site request forgery protection |
| cookie_consent | Essential | 1 year | Records your cookie choice. Set whether you accept or reject — rejecting sets it so we don't ask again |
| tenant_remember | Essential | 400 days | Remembers which workspace to sign you in to |
| remember_web_* | Essential | 400 days | Keeps you signed in between visits — only if you tick "remember me" |
| lw_settings_sections | Functional | 1 year | Remembers which settings sections you left open |
| _ga, _ga_XJDX3N77TG | Analytics | 2 years | Google Analytics. Set by Google, and only after you accept |
| __gads, __gpi, __eoi | Advertising | up to 13 months | Google AdSense, on the public free-trial page only. Set by Google, and only after you accept |
| IDE, test_cookie (doubleclick.net) | Advertising | up to 13 months / 15 mins | Google ad measurement, on the public free-trial page only. Set by Google on its own domain, and only after you accept |
Cloudflare Turnstile, the bot check on the free-trial upload and sign-in forms, does not set cookies on punchcardscan.com.
5. Third-Party Cookies
5.1 Analytics Provider. We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage of the Service. Identifying details such as query strings and account identifiers are stripped before data is sent to Google.
5.2 Advertising Provider. We may use Google AdSense to display ads solely on our public free-trial page. AdSense is not used within the paid Service.
5.3 Consent for Third-Party Cookies. Where required by applicable law, we obtain your consent before setting analytics or advertising cookies, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.
6. Do Not Track Signals
6.1 Global Privacy Control. We honor applicable Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Where required by applicable law, a valid GPC signal will be treated as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information or other applicable targeted advertising activities.
7. Cookie Duration & Expiry
7.1 Session vs. Persistent Cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for the durations listed in the table above until they expire or you delete them.
8. How to Manage Cookies
8.1 Cookie Banner. Where required by law, you can accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies through the cookie banner presented when you first visit the Service.
8.2 Browser Controls. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working correctly.
8.3 Analytics Opt-Out. You may opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser opt-out add-on or by adjusting your cookie preferences.
9. Changes to This Policy
9.1 Updates. We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect, and continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
